About Us

Superbike started by the need to provide a different level of service in the Italian Motorcycle market. This level of motorcycle service could only be accomplished when passion is part of the job.

Knowing what's right for a rider and the philosophy of selling it right the first time, is what we strive to do. European motorcycle riders have known for years that having "Top Shelf" components and riding gear can make all the difference. The top European suppliers have always produced the "Got to have components". At Superbike we apply this thinking to all brands that we service, European and Japanese.

Our view of putting European parts on Japanese motorcycle works on the track and on the street. It's an idea that we have been implementing for years and now we see that Japanese manufactures are starting to add these types of components to their latest sportbikes. A rider not just settling for average performance but wanting their bike to perform like it was meant to be ridden. Seek us out.

Since 2001 Superbike has been making a difference in the Chicago Motorcycle market. Leading the way is Superbike's Owner Ken Hall. Ken started out in the Military as a Jet Engine Mechanic for 5 years. He also served in Operation Desert Shield and Storm. After leaving the service he embraced his passion for motorcycles and became a leading specialist in the Chicago Motorcycle market. His product knowledge and expertise have helped to give Superbike the ability to serve everyone from the novice motorcycle rider to the full blown track day racer.

Ken has always been looking to improve suspension tuning, In the early nineties He worked on suspension from Cagiva, Husqvarna, KTM and Ducati. These products carried Ohlins shocks and Forks on many of their bikes. All that splattered fork oil must have paid off. In 2003, Ohlins Suspension Singled out Superbike Italia to be the Ohlins Service Center in the Midwest. Since then Superbike has focused on promoting their Suspension skills at track events all over the country. Please check our events page to see where we will be at next.
